Fanged Pumkins

ImageOkay…. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how hilarious and adorable these pumpkins are?! I recently saw this idea on Pinterest and it sucked me in… I had to make them! I got a bunch of mini pumpkins and plastic fanged teeth and got to work! I think they turned out so cute! Each one turns out different, which adds to the fun 🙂 I will definitely be making these every year now!

Cupcake Liner Flowers Pictorial

Image

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted a crafty post in forever! That is going to change today 🙂 I recently saw “cupcake liner flowers” on Pinterest, and I decided to try them out! I added my own twist to them, and I thought I would make a little pictorial for you guys if you are interested in making them.

Lets get on with the tutorial, shall we?

Image

1. Gather your supplies. You will need some cupcake holders, markers, scissors, circles of cardstock that will fit in the bottom of the cupcake holders, glue, tape, and sparkly things (glitter, rhinestones, etc.).

2. Use your marker to color the rim of the cupcake holder. You don’t need to make this perfect. I like the way it looks when the marker is a little uneven – the flower ends up looking more realistic.

3. Cut the petals of the flower. Do this by cutting out small triangles in the holder. You can make as many petals as you want!

4. Round the edges of the petals (this is optional), and glue or tape the circle of cardstock in the middle of the flower.

5. Create a circle of glue in the middle of the cardstock circle, and cover it with your sparkly things! Rhinestones, or even a button in the middle would look cute. Add whatever makes you happy 🙂

That’s it! I love the way these turn out – they are so delicate and pretty! I also like to tape them on twine to create a cute garland – it looks adorable hanging on a wall or over a window!

I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading!

Halloween

Hey! Today I have a re-creation to share with you. I recently watched Cutepolish’s newest Halloween video, and when I saw some of the designs I had to try them out! As much as I LOVE creating my own designs, it’s nice to re-create some every once in awhile too 🙂 I love the skull and I think the Frankenstein is so adorable! Do you have a favorite nail?

Intricate Floral

Hey guys! Today I’m sharing a floral design I recently did. I took inspiration from a little piece of pottery I have, and I really love the way it turned out! I don’t do intricate designs all that often, but I had so much fun painting this.

Random

Hey guys! Sometimes I like to let my ideas go crazy when I’m doing a manicure. When I don’t really have a plan the finished design usually ends up looking pretty random, but I actually love it when that happens 🙂 Today’s design is just that. I like the way it turned out – its eye-catching. What do you think? Are you a fan of random manicures?
